This is one of the easiest hike you will do, basically you follow an easy 4 wheel drive trail to Boston Mine and incredible views. Do expect to run into many people on this trail, it is a popular day trip destination. This actually was our second trip to Mayflower Gulch, it was so beautiful and we thought it would be a good hike with our daughter. Plan on taking many, many pictures.

Is this hike for kids?
My rating for hiking this with kids is 9 (1 being Low, 10 being High).
This is a very good short hike with lots to see to keep the kiddos happy and enjoying themselves.
My only caution is this is an old mine site with broken glass, rusted tin, falling down cabins. You do have to keep an eye on them so they don't get hurt.
